Crosscheck plan Mitutoyo 901 Series
Because of its natural features black granite has a huge employment in both traditional and coordinate measurement tools. We chose a Mitutoyo Crosscheck plate for the following reasons:
- Dimensional stability: granite is a naturally aged material therefore free of internal stress.
- Thermal stability: the thermal dilatation coefficient is smaller than that of steel and cast-iron.
- Hardness: the granite hardness is comparable to that of the hardened steel.
- Wear resistance: hardness guarantees a longer duration of the granite tools.
- Work tolerance: working with granite plate allows obtaining a lower flatness than with other traditional materials. Moreover, it has the following characteristics: unassailable by acids, not magnetic, electric insulated, oxidation resistant.
